My Students

Would you want to sit on the cold tile floor every day? It really isn't an ideal learning environment, especially for children. Young students need a friendly, inviting, and comfortable space that will help encourage them to become active learners.

My class consists of 9 students with special needs in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.

They are each very unique; however, they are all enthusiastic about learning. They love morning meetings, circle time, and working together. Right now we don't have anything other than the cold tile floor to sit on when we gather as a group.

My Project

This colorful carpet will give them the perfect setting for circle time and group work. The alphabet bubbles and numbered fish will address the needs of my students by giving them a specific place to sit in different learning situations. It will help make learning more comfortable and exciting for my students.

I worked hard to make our classroom a friendly and inviting learning space and a carpet would make our classroom complete.

This carpet will be perfect to bring the class together at the start of each day and give them a comfortable place to learn collectively throughout the day.
