Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a Title I school with low-income students. This would provide them the opportunity to experience new books to read in my classroom library and provide incentives to succeed. Many of my students need a snack to get them through the day and with your support this would help the focus on learning instead of their grumbling tummies.

This project would expose my students to that new book feeling and promote a love of reading for a lifetime.

Your support would be greatly appreciated by myself and my twenty-five first graders.
