My Students

This is my first year with my own classroom and I want to provide these kids with the best virtual learning possible. These students are lower performing 7th graders, with 2 proficient students in the whole grade, so connecting with them on a more personal level to earn their respect and trust is very important to me. They’ve proved they’re capable of growing (our school is new to the acceleration network) and I want to be someone they recognize as a huge fan of their progress and growth versus someone nagging them to complete work.

My Project

I need these items to create an organized system from home so I can be as effective in my teaching as possible! I recently created a home office in order to teach from home, but I am missing a chair, bins in which to organize student work, basic supplies (pens and pencils), printer ink in which to print materials for my student, as well as a laminator to assure materials don't get roughed up once we return to in-person teaching. This is my first year teaching and I am determined to make it a great one, even if a portion of it is virtual!!
