This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The supplies requested for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We need your help in getting everything through our door! Whiteboards are almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. Using the workshop model in math, students come to the rug with whiteboards for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The crayons, colored pencils, and markers will be used to create different types of art while learning about science. The composition notebooks and pencils will be used to help students practice their writing skills, while keeping a daily journal for their English/Reading lessons.
