Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In a classroom, students can come up with their ideas and express their creativity. To nurture this creativity, a good teacher needs supplies to help the students like markers, crayons, colored pencils, poster boards, etc. Unfortunately, as a recent college graduate and a first-year teacher, I do not have the funds to afford all of the supplies my students need. Through this project, I hope to be able to support my kids better by acquiring the supplies I have added to the list. These essentials will be able to allow the students to be able to express themselves freely, help them with their education, and help create a better environment in the classroom.

As a teacher of social studies class, most of the supplies are needed multiple times throughout the year as we do projects frequently in class.

Markers are instruments that allow students to illustrate their thoughts vividly, aiding in comprehension and self-expression. Poster paper serves as a canvas for their ideas, providing a platform for collaborative projects and visual learning. A stapler and staples facilitate the organization of materials, encouraging students to take ownership of their work. Tape enables the creation of displays, fostering a sense of pride in showcasing achievements. Lastly, a printer facilitates access to educational resources, ensuring that students have the necessary materials at their fingertips.

With access to these supplies, my students will be able to be more creative and experience more educational activities. By supporting this project, you will help create a better environment in my classroom, and provide my students with the tools they need to succeed.
