Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students always need visuals whether on an easel whiteboard, chart paper, or laminated personal anchor charts. The materials needed for the class, including easel chart paper, can be used for the creation of class anchor charts. The printer will be used to print lessons and projects that require gluing, cutting, and printing, which require a lot of worksheets that help students learn different skills. They also need whiteboards and dry-erase markers that can be used to show their work.

I was still missing a lot of necessary materials to help achieve a great learning experience for my students.

The items I have chosen are necessary for the students to learn and achieve success. I have a lot of English Language Learners, who would like to read books but do not have enough access to books in their language. I want them to be able to feel represented and know that there are materials available for them.

In all honesty, it would be truly appreciated to have these donations. It would mean a lot to me and my co-teacher, as well as to my students. We want to excel, represent, and provide the tools necessary to help them not just in second grade but also in getting them ready for third grade. At our school, we are always soaring high and I want my students to be the very best they can be. Your help truly means a lot and has value to it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
