Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I've been a paraprofessional for many years and have dedicated myself to helping all my students and fostering their independence. As a first-year teacher, I want to take all I learned and create the environment my students need. Starting my own classroom takes a lot of time and energy and most of all love, my students deserve the best and with your help, I would like to provide that for them.

My students come from low-income households, resources are scarce for students who are non-verbal and need more support than others to do daily tasks.

The cubby bins, sensory sand, and other specific items I am requesting will help my team and I to start to create a structured teaching classroom, that promotes independence and creates opportunities for communication. My students and I appreciate all your donations.
