My Project

I created this project with the intent to help my students master Algebra II content along with helping them prepare for the MCAS. At my school we have limited paper resources and I'm trying to break the dependency on the internet and move to more paper assignments. I feel it is important to give a true hybrid experience to my students.

I am a first year teacher at an urban city school teaching 126 high schoolers with diverse backgrounds.

My goal is to help every student find success in math!

My goal is to also teach my students skills that they will need in every day life such as organizational skills and collaboration. I included project materials such as tape, colored pencils, and graph paper so my students can work together to complete projects based off of real life situations such as graphing monthly income vs monthly expenses. These materials will also be used by my special education students to help them create graphic organizers and color code their notes.

The bins will be used in my class to hold students accountable for classroom routines and completing assignments. I will use the bins as a place for students to turn in all completed assignments.
