This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I’m excited to work with my soon to be elementary students. It will be my first year in special education and I am beyond excited to start at an amazing school district with amazing students. I just want my students to be able to have a fun and engaging school year with me being a first year teacher!

My Project

This will help my students to be able to move all while feeling comfortable in their learning experience with me. These will be used for learning in the classroom. I’ve been in classrooms where there is not flexible seating and the students have a hard time focusing and staying on task because they are told to sit still. In these seats they will be able to be comfortable and will be able to focus all while being able to move. I just want my first year of teaching to be the best for all of my students.
