Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a first year teacher who will be setting up a KINDERgarten classroom once the school year begins. Although first year teaching can be difficult, I am positive that my students, myself, and my school community will have a wonderful school year. I am very excited to begin creating a classroom that is not only a safe space, but also a productive learning environment. I want my students and myself to have the appropriate materials needed for everyday learning that will help stimulate their growing minds. I also want my student to feel comfortable in the class. By having flexible seating available, it allows my students to free themselves from their everyday chairs and reset to begin learning once again. All items on my list will help my vision come to life.
