This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year school counselor, I am committed to supporting the holistic development of my high school students, particularly in the areas of social-emotional learning (SEL) and counseling. Like many other high school students, my students face a wide range of challenges—academic pressures, social issues, mental health concerns, and personal development struggles—that can impact their ability to succeed in school and beyond. I am seeking donations of items and resources that will enable me to better assist students, particularly those requiring mandated counseling. These items will help me address mental health needs, with crisis intervention, provide behavioral and academic, and support. These items will help equip my students with the necessary tools to better understand themselves, build stronger relationships with others, and face their personal challenges with resilience and confidence.
