This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so excited to announce that our school is expanding from an elementary school to a K-8 center, meaning middle schoolers are now attending.

This is the first year our school is providing Elective Dance class for our students, therefore we need much help in growing this wonderful program.

Since we are starting from scratch, we need yoga mats for floor exercises and stretching. They will provide students with their own, safe space. The leis will be used as accessories for costumes. I am planning on choreographing a Hawaiian-themed dance in honor of the Maui wildfires, and our dancers will wear them as they perform.
