This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young Spanish Immersion learners are learning literacy skills in Spanish. I like them to be confident in their potential. They are learning and making progress at an impressive speed but we need to challenge them every day and for that, we need different materials like books and pictures that will enhance and challenge them more. Our objective is to use the emergent reading books as an exposure to high-frequency words and the pictures as writing prompts for them to put into practice the high-frequency words from the emergent reading books they read. Please help us empower them with these books that are filled with high-frequency words and of topics related to themselves. These are great to boost their confidence in reading and writing. I am certain that the format of these books will make them succeed without painful drills. Please help in supporting and making an impact in the life of these children that are the future of this world! With your help, we can make it happen! Thank you in advance! Mrs G.
