My Project

As a new teacher that started right out of college in the middle of the year I was prepared to be flexible with resources given to me by my school to get the kiddos started. Now that we are comfortable in our new space, I have time to find new materials to make our learning fun. My students live in an area where crayons and paper are not accessible, therefore I want to make sure my students can use their creativeness in the classroom.

When compiling a list of classroom resources I found materials that will contribute to student success in two different ways.

Materials like crayons, markers, and playdoh will give my students a chance to be creative with colors and use their imagination to create new worlds and to tell a story about their life, with color and dimension. the other tools are to create an organized classroom that will contribute to student success. These materials consist of basket organization for independent work time and a rolling cart to help myself organization activity throughout the week.

Thank you to anyone that would like to donate to our Kindergarten classroom! It will not be forgotten and I guarantee you will make my students very excited when they get to use new materials.
