Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Donations to this project will make a huge difference because it will help us promote a learning environment in our STEAM Lab. This S.T.E.A.M curriculum is driven by exploratory learning, problem solving and requires our students to be actively engaged all the time. We encourage creativity by presenting our students with challenges that can have many different solutions.

We want to give all of our students the opportunity to further their knowledge of basic engineering design and programming, problem-solving, and building.

The Airpods will be connected to iPads and laptops. Our students will be using Guided Meditation and Mindfulness before they start working on their robot missions. Headphones allow students to engage deeply in meditation and mindfulness practices, blocking out external noise and fostering a calm, focused environment. The airpods will have a protective cover so that students can share the headphones. The portable power stations will keep our devices charged. The Apple laptop will be used to program the robot using the spike prime software. The tri-fold boards, monitor, and table will be used to display our students' presentations. Our population consists of students with disabilities as well as English Language Learners (ELL). We do not want to turn down any students due to lack of technology. Please consider helping us fund this project. The first LEGO League competition is helping our students work together, while solving real-world problems.
