Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
They have the potential to be or do anything they want in this world. The only thing that can possibly stop their drive and creativity from being the next world-changing idea is that they haven't been exposed to the equipment that can take their idea and turn it into something abstract.
Some of my students will be the first in their family to graduate high school and/or go to college.
Some of them haven't had the easiest childhood life. These students were born during the housing crash and COVID 19 global pandemic. They also are growing up in a city that had the highest number of foreclosures and the highest unemployment percentages in the country during these times. We know that financial situations can cause a lot of stress and hard living conditions at home.
The students at my school want to learn and make this world a better place for all of us. In this digital age, students are the innovators of the future and one thing the school is missing is the tools for students to create. My school is a school filled with leaders and creators.

With the LEGO Spike kit, my students will get the chance to build a Robot to code their Robot.
They will get the opportunity to do critical thinking and problem solving with these materials
