My Project

My 6th-grade STEM students are working as STEM-bassadors to the first-grade classes in a collaborative garden project. Together they will study seeds and plant seedlings, create a compost area with worms for vermicompost for the garden, and grow their first veggies and herbs!

We are very excited to work together to create the first garden at our new school.

The 6th-grade class is excited to help teach the younger students. They have already chosen the seeds that they want to plant! Each of the first-grade classes will receive one garden set each, so every student will be able to participate. We need watering cans, seed starter packs and growing trays, natural soil additives, and gardening tools.
