This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During the current school year I have noticed a tremendous lack of essential tools in my classroom that would have made my teaching life a lot more organized and less chaotic. These materials would make a huge difference and improve my students' learning process. My first graders are very energetic and super creative so my project includes a lot of art materials such as paint, a speaker, card stock, markers, and pencils. They are also curious and like learning new skills every day that's why my project includes: whiteboards, manipulatives for math and reading, easel pads to draw anchor charts, alphabet cards, and some pocket charts.

I love nurturing my classroom with different activities that will help my students grow not only academically but also emotionally, that's why I want to end this school year with all the materials I need for my next group of first graders who come full of energy, enthusiasm and eager to learn new academic and life skills during the 2025-2026 year.
