There is a certain thrill for a six year old to be able to read a book on a tablet. For some reason, their attention is instantly grabbed.
I am a first grade teacher in a Title One school.
My school is located in the Bronx, New York and is extremely overcrowded. Although I have 29 children in my class, we all seem to work together. My students are energetic and always curious. Curiosity is a wonderful thing for a teacher to build upon.
My Project
We are very excited because our school is getting a new reading program. The new program will have all the books available to read on tablets. Wow! This is a great feature, but only if you have tablets available. Imagine a small reading group where all the children are sitting with a Kindle Fire reading. It would seem like a scene from the future. Another advantage to having the Kindle Fire tablets is that when the individual books start disappearing I can simply use the tablets for reading. All our resources will be available through the wonder of technology.
As a teacher I always want the very best for my students.
Kindle Fire tablets are the best. I can easily engage my students simply by using a tablet. Plus, when work is complete, my children will be able to use the tablet to read for enjoyment, or possibly go to a math site. Thank you for your consideration.
