This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the first grade curriculum, physical activity is not provided with a special instructor. It is the responsibility of first grade teachers, like myself, to keep my students healthy and active in their minds and bodies.

The requested materials the play set, jump ropes and balls will help students stay physically active, improve their interpersonal skills, and teach them valuable health habits.

They will have fun with their peers and cultivate new friendships while improving fine motor skills, balance, and flexibility.

Social interactions are incredibly important for the mental well-being of young students, and they can do this while being physically active!
