My Project

First graders are just beginning to read chapter books. We are transitioning from Easy Readers and Picture Books to our first chapter books. This is my first year in first grade so my library is limited. I want to enhance my library and help my leaders become readers.

You can travel anywhere in the world in a book, these new books will excite my readers as they explore new adventures in a variety of books.

The more options my students have, the more they will be fully engaged. That will allow them to truly enjoy reading.

By donating to my project I can offer books that interest my students. The best way to increase reading skills is to read more. Children will read more when they have books that are exciting and of interest to them. This project will help my students fall in love with reading while becoming stronger readers.
