This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello, to whom ever is reading this. This will be my first year teaching first grade. I am a teacher in an elementary school in Los Angeles that is in high need. What I love about my students is how caring and also how enthusiastic they are to learn. They are all unique in their own way. Most of my students come from different backgrounds. A few of my students are experiencing homelessness, and a few live in a shelter. My biggest goal is to make them feel welcome but most of all make the classroom feel safe and great learning environment. With all the things that I will be able to purchase I will be able to get the class feeling welcomed and be used for resources in the class.The headphones can be used for centers that will help my students during Universal Access time. Now for the curtain rods it will be used for a calendar.
