This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the privilege of educating a wonderful group of young minds. My classroom is full of curious and eager learners who are excited to explore the world of math and express their creativity through art.

In order to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment, I am seeking your support to provide my first-grade classroom with essential materials that will benefit my students in both their academic and creative endeavors.

I am asking for a math manipulative set which will empower my students to experience math in a hands-on way. It will allow them to visualize and interact with mathematical concepts, making learning more engaging and effective. The mini easel pads provide an interactive space where my students can share their thoughts, solve problems together, and showcase their creative ideas. They encourage collaboration and active learning. Play money is a fantastic tool for teaching financial literacy, basic math skills, and real-world problem-solving. My students will gain a better understanding of the value of money and how to manage it. Number lines are indispensable tools for understanding mathematical operations. Dry-erase boards will allow my students to practice and reinforce math skills while minimizing waste. Easel stands will enrich our art activities by giving my young artists a platform to proudly display their artwork. It encourages creativity and self-expression. Canvases, paint, and paintbrushes are materials that will nurture my students' creativity and artistic talents. They will have the opportunity to explore the world of painting, expressing themselves through vibrant colors. We are preparing for our upcoming Christmas concert, and we'd love to add a touch with a cute set of reindeer antlers.
