My Project

I teach a classroom full of amazing and curious first graders in Staten Island, New York. My school is a Title I school, with eighty percent of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunches. My students come from various backgrounds and have very diverse needs. The majority of my students are English Language Learners, where English is their second language. I am asking for basic supplies to keep my classroom neat and organized.

Mesh zipper file bags to keep small group centers together and organized.

Crayons, markers, and highlighters create colorful, fun, and engaging anchor charts and visuals.

A laminator and laminating sheets are to laminate learning materials to help them learn different skill while keeping the materials from disintegration due to successive use by these little once in 1st grade. Helping them learn sight word, Alphabets, Vocabulary words etc.

I would like to have construction paper so the children can have their own charts, such as word walls and hundreds and one's charts. These charts will be kept in a sheet protector.

Lastly, the tissues and paper towels will help the class be healthy and clean.

My class will benefit from these basic classroom supplies and encourage my students to be in an enriched community classroom.
