My Project

My first graders work hard every day on their phonics skills! They learn to recognize letters and spelling patterns, and they use these skills to break apart new words to become independent readers.

Supplying our library and small group areas with books that allow them to directly apply these phonics skills will help students become confident, fluent readers!

These books will be fun, colorful options for students to use as they read and practice specific skills. Students will be so excited to have new books in these areas to help us read!
