Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First graders will be learning about the patterns of the sky. The materials in this project will make the abstract concepts more child friendly by making our classroom feel like a planetarium.

Students will be able to use the solar system models to understand complex patterns in the sky.They will be able to build models of space ships and space robots to work on their stem skills.

They can also use the toy models to retell stories about the sun, moon and stars.

These materials will bring science and literacy concepts together and make our first grader feel like real astronomers!
