My Project
We started a First Chapter Friday book reading in our Language Arts class this winter. Each Friday, we start silent reading time by reading the first chapter of a book to our students. We have enjoyed finding books that our students might be interested in reading. Our students have responded positively to this new classroom structure. After the book has been read, students can choose to read the book from our classroom library. Several students have reported getting the books from the local and school library. This project has books we will use for our First Chapter Friday readings.
