My Students

I am a 4th-year kindergarten teacher! Teaching is my passion and working with the littlest learners is what I have always felt called to do. My classroom is always full of energy and innovation. I go to work daily with the hope I can give each and every one of my students a loving, safe environment to learn!

I teach kindergarten at a Title I school in Texas.

I currently teach both virtual & face to face students during this unprecedented school year we are having!

Most of the students in my district lived through a rough time in their short lives due to the Hurricane in 2017 and are now faced with the uncertainty of the global pandemic, Covid19. However, these students are resilient and eager to learn. Many of these children are unfortunately lacking basic necessities, but they show up every morning trying their best to smile. My students are survivors and they deserve the best!

My Project

It's that time of the year where our supplies have started to run low in the classroom! We have so many art projects left to complete this year, but we have no cardstock paper left to use. Ms. Evans loves to laminate our beautiful artwork so that it may be saved for years, but we are also out of lamination sheets! The cardstock & lamination sheets are items that our school does not provide & they are too pricey for me to purchase on a teacher's salary!

Please help our classroom by donating & helping us to refill these things we need to finish our school year strong!
