My Students

My kindergarten ICT classroom is comprised of students from a multitude of backgrounds and specific needs. My students are inquisitive and enjoy making connections and building relationships with one another through learning and play.

We are a Title I school located in a low-income neighborhood.

Our students and their families, like many others, have been heavily affected during the pandemic with the many changes and adjustments being made.

My students and their families have been working hard to adjust to the many changes in the way education is being delivered. Together, we have connected with each other in a very unique way.

My Project

My kindergarten students are entering the 2021-2022 school year with limited fine motor skills. My students are working on strengthening their muscles and fine motor skills. It is important that my students have developed their fine motor skills so they are prepared to write.

These selected resources will help me provide my students with the appropriate activities to strengthen their finger muscles, which will also improve their pencil grip.

In Kindergarten, students practice letter formation, drawing, and practice writing sentences. It is important for my students to prepare their muscles to begin writing confidently in kindergarten!
