My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges my families face is the ability to provide extra resources and oppotunities for their children.

We need more fine motor skills to help support the students with special needs in our classroom.

A large percentage of our students live in multi-family member homes, foster homes, other family members and friends' homes, and hotels or motels.

These students and families may not have the financial freedoms to provide extra resources above and beyond what is in the school already. My students work hard and are excited to practice new skills and to learn and grow. By helping provide items, this will help learning run more smoothly and more fun for the students.

My Project

My students need to work on fine motor skills at a young age. The students will have access to these resources to help play while working on fine motor skills. My stduents have special needs and these resources will help them start bridging the gap between them and their peers.

The hedgehog, pineapple, tweezers, and other resources will help the students work on the fine motor skills while being engaged.

The students will use these respiurce during their work time and during instructional time to work on the fine motor skills young learners need to practice.
