Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of art media when drawing, cutting with scissors, painting, molding, etc. improve fine motor skills in preschool. Developing fine motor skills helps children do things like eating, writing, manipulating objects and getting dressed, and we want our students to be successful during their school years.

Shaving cream and paint will help continue building fine motor skills for our preschoolers to help our children lay the foundation to do such everyday tasks.

Writing makes our students' thinking and learning visible and permanent. Writing fosters the ability to explain and refine ideas to others and ourselves, something that is important in school to show our progress. Writing preserves students' ideas and memories and allows them to understand basic concepts as a stepping stone to their future life.
