Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It all started when I brought a single Wacom tablet into my classroom. The reaction was immediate and inspiring - my students were electrified by the prospect of creating digital art and tackling math problems in a whole new way. As they began to explore the tablet's possibilities, their excitement was palpable, and I knew we were on the cusp of something special.

The Wacom tablet fills a gap, allowing students to develop essential fine motor skills while still benefiting from digital technology.

In an era where touch screens dominate, my students have grown accustomed to swiping and tapping, often shying away from traditional writing. But when I introduced the Wacom tablet, something remarkable happened. This innovative tool reignited their passion for hands-on creativity, inspiring them to pick up a digital pencil and explore the tactile experience of creating on a screen.

By donating to our project, you'll help me provide more Wacom tablets for my students, giving them the opportunity to develop the fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence they need to succeed in today's digital world. You'll be supporting a technology-rich learning environment that fosters engagement, creativity, and academic achievement.
