My Project

My Transitional Kindergarten students all come in at different developmental levels. My goal is to make sure that by the time they leave my class, they are ready for kindergarten in all developmental aspects. One, especially, is in developing their fine motor skills. The items I am asking for all contribute to helping them practice their fine motor skills and to get them where they need to be in time for kindergarten. Most of the items also help my students learn essential mathematical skills such as sorting and patterning. Most of all, many of the items are used by more than one student at a time. This helps the children learn how to work together in groups, take turns, and communicate effectively.
