My Project

In the last two years of our student’s educational careers have been in and out of virtual learning, they have spent a lot of time on devices instead of a traditional classroom. By providing our students with dramatic play we are helping them with a hands-on way to learn through play and are giving them an outlet to better develop their social skills.

We are asking for some activities to better enhance our dramatic play center, fine motor skills, and to add more engagement to some of our Thematic Units.

Listening to my students in the dramatic play area, is always a fun time. They are applying the concepts we have already learned about, using the number sense, and working on social skills. In an early childhood classroom, all of those are important. We are asking for a mailbox, some food sets (tacos, pasta, drinks, salad and cookies). an ironing board, drink dispenser and flower kit. Those all add some fun. We also focus a lot on fine motor skills. For that, we are asking for a noodle game, snap dinosaurs, polar animals sort, some science kits, magnatiles, tools, peg dolls and train. We are also asking for some headphones so we can successfully use our technology, and a balance beam to work on gross motor skills.
