Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my special day TK, K, and 1st-grade classes have various needs. Some of those needs include gross and fine motor skills. Most of my students see physical and occupational therapists each week to help them focus on growing their abilities.

I would love to be able to provide them with activities in class throughout the day, to ensure they have constant opportunities to practice expanding their fine motor abilities.

From nuts and bolts to peg boards, my students would benefit so much from these items. Increasing students’ access to toys that provide opportunities for the students to use their fingers and hands to put in, push, turn and pull are all great ways I can make sure my students are practicing and growing. Your help would mean so much to all of us.
