it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am an Occupational Therapist working with students who have a variety of disabilities in an inner city, public school environment. Most of my students struggle with the fine and visual motor skills they need to learn to write. Many do not have access to the toys and tools need at home to grow these skills. I help them become more independent everyday. My goal is to have access to more toys and tools to engage them in active learning. I am requesting Ink Cartridges, Small Dry Erase White Boards, Pencil Grips and more. I take pride in the work I do with the students and each and every one is unique in their needs. Any support that can be provided to these students is very much appreciated. The smiles they have when they learn new skills is priceless!
