My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds and family dynamics. We are a Title I school located in Wilmington, California.
I strive each day to provide a loving and nurturing environment for all of my students. They come to school with many challenges, yet we persevere! I want them to know that they can achieve all of their dreams! We were all dreamers once and some of us just needed that extra cheerleader to encourage us to chase our dreams. That is where I come in!
My Project
Our district recently announced that our students will start the school year off with 100% distance learning. This means that all the supplies students use in the classroom will need to be used at home.
In these kits, the students will have flash cards, dry erase learning sheets, math counters, fine motor activities, puzzles, and play dough mats for alphabet recognition.
All of these supplies will help my students maximize their educational experiences even at home!
During live lessons, we will use the math tools to practice counting and showing groups of numbers 1 to 10. Students will also be given flashcards for science and ELA to learn things such as the parts of a book, sight words, science terms for parts of a plant, and more. The students will use the dry erase markers and sheet protectors to practice writing alphabet letters and drawing shapes.
Learning the foundational skills during distance learning at home is a challenge, but it is possible with these at-home learning kits! Thank you for all your support in giving my students the best learning experiences possible!
