My Project

My 4 and 5-year old students need fun, creative, and engaging ways to strengthen their fine motor skills. This will help them with writing for the rest of their lives! Students can strengthen their hands while having fun at kinetic sand and play dough centers within the classroom. We can use these activities all day-for counting during math, tracing letters in literacy, and for creative fun while in choice time! Students in Pre-K learn best while engaged in hands on, play based, developmentally appropriate learning activities and I hope to add play-based fine motor centers to all portions of my school day.
