This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

PreK lays the foundation for long-term success in school. My students were born at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and have learned to live with all of the limitations that came with it.

Fine motor and sensory play is what we do in PK!

We need sensory enrichment and purposeful play to bring us back to where we were before the Pandemic took so many things away from us.

Playdough, kinetic sand, stamp pads, and imagination builders will allow my students to explore their world by working side by side with their classmates, talking and solving problems, sharing ideas, and playing. Alphabet and number bots will bring STEM exploration, and who doesn't love playing Candy Land?

Help me bring sensory enrichment and purposeful play back to my PK classroom.
