This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Hello! I am currently a second grade teacher for a Public School in Brooklyn, New York. As students enter my classroom, they have an immediate "home" feel because of all of the resources provided and the loving environment that it is displayed in. Each of the students have their own desk but with all the books and supplies, their desk becomes overcrowded. They become frustrated with not having enough room to store their belongings neatly. With such a gorgeous classroom the teacher and the students have tried to make, their desks always seem to be over stuffed. These At-Your-Seat Storage sacks are the perfect way to relieve some of the bulk in the students desk. It also does it in a fashionable way. The students can have their most important/frequently used items right behind them at all times. When the time of day comes when they need those things, they do not have to search in their desk, they can just pull it out of their handy sack. I think it is a wonderful addition to the desks as well as it gives each student a sense of having something of their own to keep neat!
