This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There is nothing better than having a place to go where you feel completely comfortable and at ease. The Calming Corner in our class is that area for many of our students.

Currently, the students in our class are making do using any bit of floor space they can to find their "little bit of calm" during a busy day.

The products that we have selected will empower our students to "find their calm" throughout the day. It will give them a comfortable space to relax, reflect, and rejuvenate. If they need a break or just want to learn in a different space, they will now be able to do that!
