Finding Friends and Fun Through Reading

Help me give my students multiple copies of books by James Marshall and Mo Willems to inspire their love of reading.

My Project

These books provide the foundation upon which we build our classroom culture. Our classroom is linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse. Students in our class speak eight different home languages and their families come from all over the world. For some, this will be the first time they have been to school.

We build our common values through the stories we read and the laughter we share.These are the perfect books to delight young readers and welcome them to a community of learners.

These books teach us that we are unique, we make mistakes, we have feelings, and most importantly, that we are better together.

These books will be used during shared reading to inspire a love for reading as students begin their journey to literacy.
