This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some people think that as students get older they no longer come to the carpet, but that couldn’t be further from the truth!

Math talks are something I implement several times a week, and I love having my students on the carpet as we learn; just because we are third grade doesn’t mean we can’t sit on the rug!

This rug is the epitome of happy, it is filled with bright colors and smileys. This project will complete my positive classroom makeover as I move to a new position of teaching math and science to two groups of kids.
