My Project

This novel follows two boys struggling to find their way at school while facing the school bully. One must overcome cultural struggles as a newcomer to the United States, while the other must overcome his challenges with APD. Soon they find each other and realize that although they are different, they also have a lot in common.

Novel studies are all about exposing students to new ideas and fresh perspectives that they can connect with.

This novel will help students to hopefully see themselves in these characters and reflect on how they interact with their peers in class and at school. The discussion around friendship, bullying, differences, and the unique challenges we all face will be enriching and engaging for students.

It has been a few years since I've been able to update my novel study library and I would love to add more current and relevant titles for my current and future classes to learn and grow with.
