Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love my third-grade students' curiosity, resilience, and sense of wonder. Each of them brings unique personalities and diverse learning styles, making our classroom a vibrant place of growth and discovery. They are eager to learn and thrive when they feel part of a supportive and welcoming environment. The materials I'm requesting, like the "Our Class is a Family" book and the boxwood bulletin board paper, will help me foster a sense of belonging and community. These tools will allow us to transform our classroom into a nurturing space where students feel safe and empowered to explore new ideas.

The pencil charms and pencil dispenser will encourage responsibility and add a fun element to something as simple as managing their supplies, while the bookcase and area rug will create a cozy reading nook that inspires a love for reading.

My goal with this project is to create an organized, comfortable, and engaging learning environment that motivates students to take ownership of their learning. These items will make a tangible difference by giving my students the resources and space they need to focus, collaborate, and succeed academically.
