My Project

I would like to encourage my preschool students to build a love and understanding of basic math concepts. I want them to experience hands on activities in math such as Nuts About Math, and Early Skills Game, that will allow them to build number recognition and form a strong foundation of numerical concepts.

I know that if students are successful in mastering mathematics concepts at a preschool level it will increase their confidence and ability to be leaders and teachers in their future educational endeavors.

Research shows that early intervention will increase test scores in the years to come, I believe these early math skills will also influence our students to understand financial literacy concepts as adults.
