This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I need your support to help bring Financial Literacy learning to my first graders by way of pretend play in ways to earn money and as consumers with hands-on purchase power based on needs and wants.

Using pretend play activities with tangible everyday things can help bridge their understanding of how important it is to be a financially literate consumer.

With the help of your generous donations, you will enable me to teach my students a very prudent lifelong skill for money management, savings planning, college and career pursuits, and wisely spending their hard earned money.

We would be very grateful to be able to get books, pretend play, and teaching manipulatives to develop their Financial Literacy.
