Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have been teaching at my elementary school for the past five years. The students at my school are artistic and inquisitive little ones who come to school eager to learn despite their financial difficulties.

The 2021-22 school year will be a challenging one for many students who were remote in the previous school year, but I am sure they are all happy to come back to school.

Help me provide my students with a financial literacy kit so they can learn about saving and spending money while having fun.

My Project

My students will have the opportunity to practice their counting skills, decision-making, budgeting, and more real life skills.

By donating to this project, you will not only help to improve and increase students' financial skills, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and self-confidence about making money decisions.

I have seen in my class how providing students with different choices can have a positive effect in my students' work and participation, and I hope that the additional options to learn about saving and spending money will help them grow even more!
