Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These sensory items and other fun toys will motivate students to learn! Students will earn “money” by earning good grades, completing homework, and following class rules. Students can also earn money through their positive actions such as helping others and being respectful. Additionally, students will earn a salary and pay rent monthly. At the end of each month, students will then be able to use their earnings to shop or save!

My Gifted students enjoy the learning process so I’ve decided to incorporate financial literacy into our classroom environment by motivating them with colorful, fun, sensory toys to “purchase” and reward themselves for their hard work.
