My Project

Financial literacy is such an important skill and yet, it is not formally taught in many schools. The requested materails will help students learn in a warm, relaxed and joyful environment.

Last year, I created a club where we talked about personal finances and the skills that students need to learn to feel better equipped for their life beyong high school.

At the beginning of the semester, students talked about how their knowledge of finances is limited and their fear to make bad decisions that they can impact them for years to come.

I have found that learning about the topic in a relaxed and informal atmosphere allow to the message to be caried better. And what better than food/snacks to bring students together!
